Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre introduces Northumberland’s First-ever “Handbags for Hospice”.
Community Care Northumberland (CCN) says the event is coming up on Thursday, January 23rd at the Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn and Convention Centre.
Nancy Oliver, Chair of the Events Committee, says The Ed’s House Special Events Committee has been busy putting together this wonderful evening, where approximately 75 designer handbags will be up for grabs.
She stresses that tickets are selling fast as there only a limited number of tickets available at $75.00 at SNAPD TIX.
Handbags for Hospice event brings the community together for an exciting evening of entertainment, good food and fun featuring designer handbags, luxury experiences and much more.
Proceeds from this event will support the furnishing of a patient room at the new Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre that is currently under construction on Ontario Street north of the 401 in Hamilton Township, with a goal to raise $25,000.
This night of fun, fashion and friends has become a signature event for many hospices throughout Ontario. Oliver explains.
Come support Ed’s House or consider purchasing a ticket of two for a gift for that special person for Christmas, Oliver suggests.
CCN sees this becoming an annual and signature events in our area to support the important work that Ed’s House will be doing for our community.
Ed’s House has a goal to open in the Summer of 2020.
