The affordable housing strategy was on the agenda Monday evening (Dec 2) at Cobourg Council.
Making the presentation was Northumberland County’s housing services manager, Rebecca Carman, as well as Christine Picini from SHS Consulting, who spoke to the provincial and federal policies that are in place.
Picini speaks to what they’ve been working on in Cobourg.
Picini compares Cobourg to Northumberland as a whole.
Carman touches on the ultimate goal after a presentation like this.
Carman tells us some of the targets that were touched on that are Cobourg specific.
Carman says the County has different breakdowns for the types of units offered or needed.
