All Creatures Great and Small is celebrating their 20th anniversary in Downtown Cobourg!
Theresa Rickerby is one of the owners of All Creatures, but has been active in the pet industry since 1992.
Rickerby says her love of animals has been a lifelong passion, starting with her dog walking and dog marriage business back when she was just a child.
Rickerby says the store has been a labour of love.
All Creatures is an independent, locally owned and operated store dedicated to natural health and wellness for cats, dogs and horses, and is committed to sourcing local and Canadian made products first.
Rickerby tells us it’s important to them to support local.
Six years ago, along with her partner Heather Haraldsson-Glennie (who was the stores first employee and became a partner in the business in 2004), used the All Creatures ‘model’ and opened a toy store named Spark, right next door to the pet store.
All Creatures may be 20 years old this year but have over 25 years’ experience with backgrounds in natural diet for health prevention and disease control, training, dog sports, chiropractic and therapy work and Rickerby says they’ve been ahead of the trends over the years.
Tomorrow (Feb 22), you can join in the celebration at the Market Building on Second Street in Cobourg.
Not only will there be 20 to 75 per cent off EVERYTHING at the store, but you’ll also be able to ‘Meet the Experts’, and the first 75 people will be able to take home a swag bag.
There will be a special presentation made at 11 am.
