War Amps’ 2020 key tags are en route to households across the province.
The program is free, although donations to War Amps are greatly appreciated.
The organization explains that donations received help support amputees, including children, with financial assistance for the cost of artificial limbs, peer support and information on all aspects of living with amputation.
Sam Hall is a local teen and a member of the War Amps Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program.
He explains that the CHAMP program is run through donations.
Hall suggests you attach the tags to your keys (or any personal object), so if you ever lose them, anyone who finds them can return them for free by calling War Amps or leaving them in the nearest mailbox.
