Two women are facing a slew of charges after a drug bust in Cobourg.
Cobourg Police say a search warrant was conducted at a John Street home Wednesday (Aug 5) that led to the arrest of 24-year-old Kayla Gibson and 22-year-old Karleigh Horsley, both of Cobourg.
Gibson has been charged with three counts of possession of a schedule I substance fo the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule III substance fo the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Horsley faces two counts of failing to comply with probation, assault with intent to resist arrest and failing to comply with an undertaking.
As a result of the bust, a quantity of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms and Tylenol 3 with codeine, which police estimate to value at $800.
Cobourg Police also seized $1,225 in cash, a weigh scale and a cellphone as part of the search.
