The province is adding conservation officers to protect natural resources.
Ontario is now recruiting 25 additional officers across Ontario who will help the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry increase focus on sustainable resource management measures such as promoting hunting safety, preventing illegal hunting and preventing the introduction of invasive species.
Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry, Mike Harris says the ministry is looking anyone from a small town or city, those who come from a long line of conservation officers or those who are first generation conservation officers.
