After a 2 year hiatus, the 16th Annual Apple Country Jamboree will be returning to the Keeler Centre in Colborne on July 27th to July 31st, 2022.
Hosted by Gary Warner and Linda Grills, this jamboree will bring live professional Country Music performers from across Ontario, Quebec and even as far away as Texas to play for the daily crowd along with overnight campers.
The jamboree runs 5 days, from Wednesday to Sunday. The early bird show starts on Wednesday, July 27th and it will feature, “The Heart of Texas” with Darrell McCall, Dallas Wayne, Heather Myles, Mona McCall and Tracy Pitcox who will be taking the stage to kick off the event.
“Each day from 1:00 – 5:00 there is an open mic for local or campers to do a couple of tunes with a professional backup band,” said Gary Warner – co-host of the Apple Country Jamboree. “Then the main show runs from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm with artists from across Ontario and even an artist from Quebec.”
Taking the stage, the line-up this year:
· Thursday – Barb Morrison, Floyd Bellamy, Mary Rowan, Joe Tucker, and Kierstyn Cross
· Friday – Harry Adrain, Michael Warren, Gerald Davidson, and Cheryl Adrain
· Saturday – Gary Peters, Rick Loucks, Sylvie Rioux, and Paul Weber
· Sunday – Dale Ducharme, Naomi Bristow, and Mike Pollard
Sunday morning, a crowd favourite is the Gospel Show, which starts at 11:00 on Sunday, July 31st and will feature Reg Nenoit & Friends
Admission can be purchased at the door for a single night or you can get a weekend pass.
Nightly – $25 a person and entire weekend pass in $85 per person.
Warner said there’s still some room to camp.
With a lot of new faces in Colborne, this jamboree is a great way to get acquainted with your new neighbours, or if you are a local, to see old friends at Keeler Centre and enjoy some Country Music together.
