This weekend, the Roseneath Fair returns, complete with their famous Carousel.
For many the Fair is a family tradition – something they look forward to every year.
Over the last two years it wasn’t possible to host it due to COVID, but this year Barb Foreman has been busier than ever.
Highlights for Friday include Judging that starts at noon and a Truck Pull that begins at 7:00 p.m.
On Saturday, there’s the popular Demo Derby, a Tractor Pull and the Opening Ceremonies start at 11:00 a.m.
The Midway will get going at 10 am on Saturday and you can peruse agricultural exhibits and watch the livestock competitions throughout the day. It all wraps up on Saturday night with a Fireworks display.
As Secretary Treasurer for the Roseneath Agricultural Society, Barb Foreman knows a lot of the families come back year after year.
Barb gave us quick rundown of some of the highlights you should to be sure not to miss.
Sunday will start off with the NCR Horse Club Show followed by the Northumberland Cattlemen’s Steer Show with the Midway opening at 10 am.
Parking is free on all days for the event and tickets are just 10 dollars a day or 15 dollars for a weekend pass.
And there’s so much to do from Thursday thru Sunday you’ll probably want to get the pass.
