Nothing beat the excitement of Saturday morning cartoons! Remember those days when you would run down to the living room early in the morning, still in your pajamas, and turn on one of three channels? Shows like Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo, The Looney Tunes, and so many others that are still household favourites.
Looking good and feeling good is easy when you mix fun graphic tees with some nostalgia. We want to make it easy for you so, we’ve put together a list of Saturday Morning cartoon t-shirts that are going to have you feeling like you’ve blasted back in time.
YabbaDabbaDoo! TheFlintstoneswereanothergreatnuclearfamily show featuring a fun-loving pet. If you weren’t sitting there conjuring up ways to get a dinosaur as a pet somehow were you really a Flintstones fan? This show was so much fun to watch as a kid so I knew we had to include it.
You can’t forget about Looney Tunes! There were so many fun and wacky characters as part of the Looney Tunes gang. This shirt features a character stack of almost all of them! Definitely a fun find for the massive Looney Tunes fan out there.
Wacky Races was easily one of my favorites growing up! This Hanna- Barbera production featuring a cast of literal “wacky” racers was hilarious. Penelope Pitstop, The Slag Brothers, The Gruesome Twosome, Peter Perfect, and who could forget about Dick Dastardly and his canine companion Muttley featured here on this tee. The show was all kinds of funny and unfortunately I’ve been when I laugh sometimes I laugh like Muttley does, so I’m a bit more partial to the show.
5) The Smurfs
The one theme song that I probably didn’t care for was The Smurfs, but the show was still a lot of fun to watch every Saturday morning. This vintage- style Smurf shirt though might be one of my favorites on the list. Not only do I love the color in the featured picture, but I love all the color options and sizes.
Now, I know The Animaniacs is from the 90s, but it’s still a classic cartoon! Although the revival wasn’t what I hoped it would be, the original show was so fun and hilarious. I learned my United States capitals because of it! This shirt feature Wakko, Yakko, and Dot is super fun, and has that faded vintage look to it.
And if we’re going to talk about the Animaniacs we can’t forget to mention Pinky & The Brain. Although his plans are foiled often, we all know that The Brain’s goal to take over the world was one that I wanted to watch every single time.
Turtle Power! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were of course a favorite in many households. Donatello, Michaelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael were amazing. Crime fighting, karate chopping turtles? Name a better premise for a TV show!
And speaking of superheroes, The Super Friends was another phenomenal show. Featuring many of your favorite DC Characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, Aquaman, etc. The show also featured one of my favorite superhero things of all time, The Invisible Jet! All of that to say, this shirt definitely hit us right in the nostalgic feels.
Scooby-Doo, where are you!? The much-beloved group of meddling kids and their dumb dog is still one of my favorites of all time. I used to have a Mystery Machine lunch box that’s how hardcore my love for the show went. This awesome shirt featuring the whole gang is a best-seller and is available in sizes Small through XXXL
