Weapons and drug charges have been laid in Campbellford.
A drug and firearms investigation in Campbellford culminated in two search warrants being executed, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of cash, cocaine, a 9mm handgun, a replica handgun, and a prohibited knife.
On December 2nd, the Peterborough/Northumberland Community Street Crime Unit, with assistance from Tactics and Rescue, the Emergency Response Team and Organized Crime Enforcement executed a search warrant resulting in the seizure of cash and drugs, and two individuals were charged and released on undertakings.
A second warrant was executed on December 3rd where weapons were seized and on December 7th the two individuals were re-arrested, charged and held for a bail hearing.
Christine Cormier and Bradley Finch both of Cramahe face a slew of charges including possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of unauthorized firearms.
