Enjoy fine French-themed dining at this year’s annual Habitat Sunday Dinner.
The Habitat for Humanity Northumberland Cobourg ReStore will be transformed into a French courtyard for it’s annual Sunday Dinner in the ReStore.
A casual dining fundraiser will be held on April 16th, catered by Cobourg’s Prep Food Co with proceeds going to support Habitat builds in Northumberland County.
The French-themed plated dinner will be proceeded by signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvers and guests can enjoy the transformed ReStore that will have a French Courtyard theme.
The dinner will also include a silent auction and organizers hope to raise $12,000 through ticket sales and sponsorships.
“The Sunday ReStore Dinner is all about slowing down. It’s a time to share and connect with our amazing community through a delicious meal in a warm and inviting atmosphere. This year we are celebrating our 25th anniversary and all those who helped to get us to this important milestone.” Executive Director Meaghan Macdonald emphasizes that although she is excited to gather, “we often we take for granted that a Sunday dinner in a home is a universal experience, but rather it is a privilege that not everyone can enjoy. And with the help of our community, we want to help to create the opportunity for experiences like this for more people in our community through our programming.”
