The members of the Colborne Art Gallery have opened their new summer show called “Under the Sun” and are also featuring a guest artist with the complimentary “Moon Dance” show featuring Josie Arnold-Radoman.
Gallery Member Elizabeth Vercoe told us it’s a member’s show with a special guest artist component.
All things summer is being explored by local member artists in gallery space 1 & 2 at the Colborne Art Gallery featuring works from Charles Funnell, Eileen Myers, Elizabeth Vercoe, Heather Roy, Heather Stubbs, Helen Van Poorten, Ian Davis, Ken Solilio and Rosanne Dolan.
These members are also pleased to announce that they are featuring in gallery space 3, a complimentary show called “Moon Dance” by Josie Arnold – Radoman that includes 35 of her pieces.
Vercoe told us more about Moon Dance.
Josie is an award winning, contemporary landscape artist, focused on capturing the magic of nature in her landscapes, be it of trees, starry night skies, or open fields, farmland and gardens. She graduated with honours from the Ontario College of Art and Design Fine Art Program in 1981. Her mediums of choice are acrylic, watercolour and mixed media.
“Josie’s new show’s “Moon Dance” explores the myths and legends of the summer night sky,” said Elizabeth Vercoe – a member of the Colborne Art Gallery.
According to Elizabeth they’ll be offering three full galleries of work for you to enjoy.
The “Under the Sun” and “Moon Dance” shows which opened in July runs until September 3rd.

“We also have a small shop set up inside the gallery for smaller art items and jewelry available to purchase too,” added Vercoe.
