The 17th Annual Angels of Care Campaign has been officially launched by the Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) Foundation, complete with a remarkable $400,000 matching gift incentive.
This year’s Angels of Care Campaign sets out to raise $1.4 million for a new CT Scanner. Currently, with existing donations and pledges, over 40% of the goal has been achieved.
Bruce Thompson, spokesperson for the Matchmakers, emphasizes that, “Each gift made to the Angels of Care Campaign from today until December 31st will be matched up to $400,000.” He goes on to explain the significant impact of the CT Scanner, which has been in service for 13 years, saving numerous lives by providing swift diagnosis and treatment without the need to transport patients to other hospitals for testing.
The hope is that the community will rally once more to join The Matchmakers and support this goal.
