If your looking to plant trees along your property bordering municipal roads then the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority, along with Township of Hamilton and the Municipality of Port Hope are offering free potted stock through the Trees for Rural Roads Program.
Apply by March 31st.
Those looking for flowering shrubs or diverse tree options can look into the Tree and Shrub Seedling Program.
Those orders due by March 1st.
And if you own more than 2.5 acres of open land you can apply for the full-service tree planting program with funding support.
Apply today for an April pick-up at the GRCA office in Port Hope.
