If you’re looking to get in on the Easter egg hunt action with the family in Northumberland this long-weekend, here are a few events to check out.
Northumberland Tourism says folks can hop on over the with the kids for some fabulous bunny-inspired fun at these events:
Port Hope will host a Northumberland Easter egg hunt at Memorial Park Saturday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be carry the egg races, face painting, games in the park, and more, as well as nearby fun at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Hit downtown Campbellford for “Easter Treats in the Streets” happening Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. Kids can meet the Easter bunny, do some decorating, and throughout downtown businesses will be giving away treats and hosting activities. There’s also Touch-a-Truck, and more.
While you’re in Campbellford Saturday, you may want to check out Fogorig Brewing for more Easter extravaganza family fun. Egg hunts, face painting, wood-fired pizza and cotton candy are part of the lineup from noon to 4 p.m.
A “Hastings Easter Egg Hunt” Saturday afternoon is also set at the Hastings Field House.
On Sunday, March 31, there’s an egg hunt from noon until 2 p.m. at Cobourg’s Victoria Park (and other fun to check out!)
In Colborne, a Sunday Easter egg hunt starts at 2 p.m. at 13784 County Rd. 21.
