A 22-year-old has been charged after being caught speeding in Cobourg.
On April 24 just before 11 p.m., police monitoring Brook Road North say they spotted a vehicle driving well above the speed limit – 146 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
The driver was pulled over, and upon investigation, he was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
His license was suspended for 30 days, and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
He was also issued a summons to appear in Provincial Court.
