In March, council approved demolition of Block 2 of the File Factory building at 121 Cavan Street, which has been closed since February due to structural concerns.
The closure’s duration extends due to a mandatory 30-day appeal period.
The Municipality is working to reopen the road by assisting the property owner in meeting requirements.
Demolition is slated for early in May, aiming for a week’s duration.
