Cobourg mourns the passing of former Chief Administrative Officer, Steve Robinson, who dedicated 27 years to serving the community.
Known for his transformative vision, Steve spearheaded projects like the harbour redevelopment and industrial park acquisition, leaving an indelible mark on Cobourg’s growth.
“On behalf of Council and staff, we were incredibly sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Steve Robinson,” says Mayor, Lucas Cleveland. “Mr. Robinson was praised as being an exceptional role model, supportive colleague, and innovative thinker whose name is still regularly spoken in our hallways. He helped Council navigate fundamental investments that made Cobourg stronger and more prosperous, and we are humbled by his years of service to this community.”
Flags fly at half-staff across municipal buildings until Steve’s memorial service on May 9.
