Loretta Reynolds, 69 of Cobourg, is celebrating a life-changing $100,000 win after matching six of seven ENCORE numbers in the August 10, 2024, LOTTO 6/49 draw.
Loretta, who has been playing with OLG for three years, says she always adds ENCORE to her ticket, and this time, her dedication paid off.
“The night before, I told my husband we’d have some money the next day,” she said while claiming her prize at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. The next morning, while enjoying coffee, she checked her numbers and realized she had won.
Overwhelmed, she asked her husband to confirm the win. “Winning takes your breath away,” Loretta remarked, smiling.
She plans to use her windfall to pay off bills and purchase a new car.
The winning ticket was purchased at the CNIB kiosk in Walmart, Cobourg.
