Cultivate Festival 2024 is set to take place from September 20-22 at Haute Goat Farm, offering a weekend full of live music, art, food and community engagement.
Known as “The Feel Good Festival,” this event invites people of all ages to come together for three days of camping, great food, and diverse entertainment.
Executive Director Jeff Bray tells us how the festival has changed over the last decade.
The festival lineup includes a mix of talented performers, from folk icons like Sloan to world music favourites such as Kobo Town and Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy. Stages are set so that no performances overlap, ensuring guests don’t miss a beat. Workshops like “Be The Backup Singer,” led by Tanika Charles, and an African drumming session with Isaac Nii Akrong, offer attendees hands-on experiences to enhance their musical journey.
According to Bray, this year may be hard to top.
In addition to live performances, the festival will feature creative activities for all ages, including a songwriter circle and culinary discussions about the role of food in music. And don’t forget the food!
There’ll be something for everyone that’s sure to please your palate.
Bray tells us more about their hosts at Haute Goat Farm.
So, whether you’re attending for the food, music, workshops, or family-friendly atmosphere, Cultivate Festival aims to strengthen community ties through the arts.
