The Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 18th Annual Angels of Care Campaign is facing challenges due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, delaying its letter of appeal to thousands of donors.
This critical fundraiser aims to collect $500,000 to purchase new scopes and support equipment for the hospital’s Endoscopy Program, a vital service for patients in the community.
CMH Foundation Executive Director John Russell explains.
The campaign’s efforts are also being bolstered by a committed group of donors known as “The Matchmakers,” who have pledged up to $300,000 in matching donations. From now until December 31, every dollar donated will be matched, potentially doubling the impact of your contribution.
Russell says thousands of appeal letters are currently stuck in transit.
Foundation officials are hoping the public can help overcome this setback by donating through alternative means.
Secure online gifts can be made at givetocmh.ca, while donations by e-transfer can be sent to foundation@cmh.ca. Donors may also call 705-653-1140 ext. 2107 to contribute by credit card or arrange for their donation to be picked-up.
Donations are also accepted in person at the Foundation Office or the Admitting Desk at Campbellford Memorial Hospital, located at 146 Oliver Road.
Your support is essential to maintaining top-quality healthcare for Campbellford and surrounding areas.
