A total of six candidates are confirmed for the 2025 provincial election in Northumberland-Peterborough South.
With Election Day inching closer – set for Feb. 27, 2025 – the deadline for candidates to file nominations papers has closed.
According to Elections Ontario, in the running in this region are: Incumbent David Piccini for the PC Party of Ontario; Bruce LePage for the NDP; Dorothy Noronha for the Liberals; Maxwell Groves for the Greens, Joshua Chalhoub for the New Blue Party, and Florian Bors for the Ontario Party.
Meanwhile, in the neighbouring Bay of Quinte riding, another six candidates have put their names forward, including: Incumbent Tyler Allsopp for the Progressive Conservatives; Amanda Robertson for the NDP, David O’Neil for the Liberals; Lori Borthwick for the Green Party of Ontario; Anthony Zambito for the New Blue Party, and Nick Maddison for the Ontario Party.
