The Town of Cobourg will hold a public meeting on February 25 to discuss a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment for 117 Durham Street. The property, formerly the CDCI West High School football field, was purchased by the Town, which is now seeking to introduce residential uses to the site.
The proposed amendment focuses on medium and high-density housing, aiming to support a mix of housing types. Any future development will require additional approvals under the Planning Act.
The public meeting will take place at 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 3rd Floor East Wing of Victoria Hall, located at 55 King Street West. Residents who prefer to participate virtually can do so via Zoom by registering with Brent Larmer, Municipal Clerk, by 4 p.m. on February 24.
