Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre’s annual Women’s Day Luncheon is set to take place on May 15 at the Best Western in Cobourg.
This year’s guest speaker is Fallon Farinacci, a proud Red River Métis, survivor, and advocate for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Farinacci, who recently received the 2025 Feminist Creator Prize from the Canadian Women’s Foundation, is recognized for her work promoting gender equality and safety.
The event will include a lunch, networking opportunities, and a silent auction. Proceeds will support Cornerstone’s programs and services for individuals experiencing violence in Northumberland County.
“We look forward to enjoying this inspiring afternoon with our great community and supporters,” said Nancy Johnston, Cornerstone’s Executive Director.
Part Time CFO Services is sponsoring this year’s guest speaker. “We are pleased to support Cornerstone’s ninth annual luncheon and look forward to this great event,” said Darryl Goodall, President of Part Time CFO Services.
Tickets will be available starting April 2 on Cornerstone’s website.
