Just before 8:15 am this morning (March 24), Alnwick/Haldimand Fire Department, Northumberland OPP and Northumberland County paramedics responded to a single vehicle collision on County Rd 45 just north of Northumberland County Forest.
It appears a passenger vehicle slid off the road and rolled-over into the ditch due to slippery conditions. OPP report the driver of the vehicle was taken by paramedics the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but she did manage to leave the vehicle on her own with assistance from first responders.
A passer-by called in the incident to 911. Police say their investigation is ongoing.
