A 42-year-old Cobourg man is facing multiple charges, including domestic assault, following a report from a concerned resident.
On Sunday, March 23, 2025, Cobourg police say a resident attended the Cobourg Police Station to report witnessing an assault. The witness provided a description of the suspect, which led officers to investigate further.
Following the investigation, police arrested a 42-year-old Cobourg man and charged him with domestic assault, breach of probation, and two counts of breach of recognizance to keep the peace.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and has since been remanded in custody.
