The Municipality of Port Hope is inviting residents to help shape its next Strategic Plan through community engagement initiatives.
Under the theme “Community Voices in Action – Shape, Share, Strengthen,” the initiative seeks feedback on municipal priorities, services, and growth.
“The strength of our Municipality comes from the collective voices of those who live, work, and invest here,” said Mayor Olena Hankivsky. “This Strategic Plan will help guide our future priorities and decision-making, and we want it to reflect the diverse perspectives of our community.”
Residents can participate by completing an online survey at porthope.ca/strategic-plan or by attending pop-up engagement sessions:
April 2: Town Park Recreation Centre (10 a.m.-2 p.m.)
April 2: Jack Burger Sports Complex (3 p.m.-7:30 p.m.)
April 12: Fannyville at Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny (10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.)
April 12: Hope Transfer Station (2 p.m.-5 p.m.)
A consultant is also conducting interviews, staff surveys, and community group meetings to gather further insights.
Residents are encouraged to take part and ensure the plan reflects their needs.
