The sold out 6th Annual Handbags for Hospice event in support of Ed’s House, Northumberland’s Hospice Care Centre was held last night, Thursday, April 10th, at the Best Western Cobourg.
The money raised will go towards the one million dollars needed annually to provide quality residential Hospice services.
The successful fundraising event featured live and silent auctions, a signature drink, candy bar, full course dinner and a Golden ticket draw.
Wendy Ito gave a heartfelt and powerful talk about her personal experience with Ed’s House when her father passed away.
