A 38-year-old Brighton man has been charged after a family dispute call, says Northumberland OPP.
According to police, on April 14, at about 5 p.m., police responded to a family dispute call at a Deerfield Drive residence in the Municipality of Brighton.
After officers arrived on scene, one person was taken into custody, said OPP, adding no injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 38-year-old Brighton man was charged with uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm.
This charge has not been proven in court.
The accused will appear in Cobourg court at a future date and will not be named to protect the identity of the victim, said police.
