Port Hope Police say they’re continuing their investigation following a report of an indecent act at East Beach.
Officers were called to the area on Wednesday, July 16, after receiving a report of suspicious activity between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. As a result of the investigation, police arrested a 71-year-old male in connection with the alleged incident.
Police have not released further details but did confirm that the investigation remains ongoing.
They are asking for the public’s help, particularly anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything unusual or concerning.
