Come and junk journal a bookmark. We will have all the supplies you need to design your very own bookmark. After you’re done we will laminate the book mark for you to take home.

Bring your family to cool off this summer with a movie at the library.
Popcorn will be provided, while supplies last. Please bring a re-usable water bottle to fill up at our foyer water station.

Pop-Up Music at the Wesleyville Schoolhouse – Wednesday evenings in June and July Rediscover the simple joy of summer evenings spent outdoors with friends, enjoying live music in the open air. Bring a lawn chair and settle in front of the schoolhouse for an evening of music from a variety of genres – perfect for singing along, tapping your feet, or catching up with neighbours! These free, family-friendly concerts are open to all: come by for a song or stay for the whole evening! Bring your own chair, bug spray, and a friend. Please dress according to the weather – the event will move indoors in case of rain. The concerts are free, but donations in support of the village are welcome.

Port Hope Movies in the Park

Join us for free outdoor movies in Memorial Park this summer!
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to our pop-up, open-air theatre in downtown Port Hope.
Come downtown early to explore our business district, and enjoy a meal (dine-in or takeout) from one of our local restaurants.
Concessions will also be available for purchase in the park. Show time is dusk.
Our Movies in the Park series presents films for the whole family; where possible, movies will be shown with subtitles.
July 30 – Elf – If severe weather on movie night, the experience will be moved indoors to our rain venue: Fall Fair Centre, 62 McCaul St.
