Northumberland United Way’s newest fundraiser, Bite Back Against Hunger, has proven to be a sellout success.
The exclusive four-night culinary series at Pomona Ristorante in Colborne quickly sold out, with all 28 seats for each evening spoken for. The event will be held September 7, 21, 28, and October 5, featuring a seven-course tasting menu designed to highlight the harvest and bounty of Northumberland County.
United Way’s Executive Director Alicia Vandine explains.
Each evening runs from 6 to 10 pm and offers guests an intimate dining experience, pairing refined Italian cuisine with a community purpose. Tickets were $175 per guest, including a $100 charitable tax receipt, with proceeds supporting United Way programs that help local families access food and other essential resources.
Vandine says Lisa Colucci Voutt and her team didn’t stop there.
The United Way is offering a golden ticket raffle for a private Sunday dinner for 10 at Pomona, valued at $1,500.
Only 100 tickets will be sold at $100 each, making this an exclusive chance to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience while supporting local families.
Golden tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Northumberland United Way office at 905-372-6955. The raffle is licensed under #M675984.
For those who missed the event tickets, the raffle provides a unique way to join the fight against food insecurity and experience an unforgettable evening at one of Colborne’s most celebrated restaurants.
