Cobourg residents and visitors are being reminded of upcoming road closures in downtown Cobourg for the 2025 Harvest Festival.
King Street West, from Spring Street to Division Street, along with Second Street, will be closed starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, October 4 and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Sunday, October 5.
The temporary closures are in place to ensure safety during the Cobourg DBIA Harvest Festival, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The festival features a variety of local vendors, seasonal displays, and family-friendly activities throughout downtown Cobourg, creating a fun and festive atmosphere for all ages.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan alternate routes during the closures, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted signs and directions from festival staff. Pedestrian access within festival areas will be maintained, while vehicle access will be restricted for the duration of the event.
For the latest festival information, including vendor locations, schedule updates, and special activities, visit the Downtown Cobourg Events website at www.downtowncobourg.ca/events
or their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/downtowncobourg.
Organizers thank the community for their patience and cooperation, helping to ensure the Harvest Festival is a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
