Police say they’re investigating a series of thefts from vehicles and vehicle entries in Cobourg.
According to the Cobourg Police Service, the alleged entries are believed to have occurred overnight between Tuesday, Oct. 14 and Wednesday, Oct. 15 at “multiple residential locations.”
Police said reports have been received from residents in the Division Street and Charles Street, Birchwood Trail, Burnham Manor Court, and King Street East and Division Street areas.
In three of the reported incidents, cash and other personal property were allegedly taken from vehicles.
“Police are actively investigating whether these incidents are connected,” stated the service, while also reminding all residents to lock vehicles, remove valuables and report suspicious activity immediately.
Investigators are also asking anyone with information or surveillance footage to reach out to CPS at 905-372-6821 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
