Port Hope council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. to review progress on the municipality’s ward boundary and council composition review.
During the meeting, consulting firm Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. will present an interim report outlining preliminary findings and next steps in the public engagement process, according to the municipality. The review is intended to ensure fair and effective representation for residents across all wards as the community continues to grow, added officials.
The meeting will take place in the council chambers at town hall and is open to the public. Residents who wish to follow the discussion can also view the session live on the Municipality of Port Hope’s YouTube channel.
