The Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Gala, A Silver Soirée, has become the most financially successful gala in the organization’s history, raising over $310,000 for the hospital’s Surgical Services program.
The milestone event, held on November 8, 2025, welcomed more than 300 guests for an elegant cocktail reception, celebrating two and a half decades of community support.
Funds raised from this year’s gala will purchase two operating tables and Endoeye Scopes, high-definition cameras used in minimally invasive surgeries. These tools allow surgeons to operate with greater precision, improve procedural efficiency, and help patients recover faster.
Gala co-chairs Dr. Kate Everdell and Dr. Emma Smith thanked the community for their support. “Whether you attended, sponsored, donated to the auction, pledged a gift to Fund Me, or made a contribution in any other way, this result would not have been possible without you,” they said in a message shared on the Foundation’s website.
Since the first gala in 2001, NHH Foundation events have raised more than $4.5 million to fund modern medical equipment and technology. The annual celebrations remain vital to enhancing patient care and supporting the delivery of advanced surgical services.

Community support continues to play a crucial role in ensuring Northumberland Hills Hospital has the equipment and resources needed to provide high-quality care for patients across the region.
