Epic Bingo is bringing its fast paced game show experience to Port Hope later this month, combining high energy entertainment with community fundraising in support of 1st Port Hope Scouts.
The Epic Bingo Game Show Experience takes place Friday, January 23, and is a 19 plus event featuring multi-round bingo, music, lighting effects, and interactive mini-games. Unlike traditional bingo nights, the two-hour event blends trivia, challenges, and party-style fun between rounds.
Volunteer leader Jacquelyn Goreski says Epic Bingo offers something different for the community.
Organizers tested the format earlier this year and say it delivers an engaging experience without requiring anyone to participate in games if they prefer to sit back and play bingo.
In addition to gameplay, the evening will include a silent auction featuring donated items from local and regional businesses, including family experiences, gift cards, and prize packages.
All proceeds from the event will support 1st Port Hope Scouts, which serves youth from approximately age five through their teen years. Goreski says funds help cover membership costs for families in need, purchase camping equipment, and support weekly programming and community activities.
Scouting in Port Hope is entirely volunteer-run, and organizers say community support is critical to keeping programs accessible.
