A Kingston Police officer has been arrested after a criminal harassment investigation conducted by the Belleville Police Service, say police.
In a brief release from the Belleville Police Service, police said the accused was charged in connection to off-duty incidents.
The investigation followed a request from the Kingston Police Service to conduct an independent investigation into an allegation of criminal harassment involving one of their members and the request dates back to October 2025, said Belleville police.
On Feb. 11, 2026, police said the investigation led to the member being arrested and charged with one count of criminal harassment.
This charge has not been proven in court.
The accused was released on an undertaking with conditions and will appear in court at a later date, which was not provided by police.
Police also said no further details will be provided to protect the privacy of those involved and to maintain the integrity of the investigation.
