Campbellford Memorial Hospital is calling on residents interested in helping to shape the future of local healthcare.
As CMH prepares for the 2026-27 board year, the hospital is calling on individuals interested in serving as directors on its board, as well as residents to serve on its standing board committees.
“Serving in a governance role at CMH is a chance to make a real, lasting impact on healthcare in our region,” said Jeff Hohenkerk, president and CEO of Campbellford Memorial Hospital. “We’re looking for individuals who care deeply about CMH and want to help shape its future through meaningful leadership and collaboration.”
CMH said these governance roles offer a meaningful chance to contribute skills, experience and perspective at a pivotal time of growth for the hospital as work continues on a new CMH.
Board directors play a key role in providing oversight, accountability and strategic direction for the organization, while those serving at the committee level contribute valuable insight and expertise through committee work, explained CMH.
“Together, these roles support strong governance and help ensure CMH continues to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.”
CMH said it is welcoming applications from individuals with diverse professional backgrounds, lived experience and community connections, including individuals with an interest in healthcare, governance, finance, safety, community engagement and/or strategic planning especially encouraged to consider putting their names forward.
More information on roles and eligibility is accessible online via the hospital’s website.
