The Township of Cramahe has announced the appointment of Rob Lake as its new Manager of Environmental Services, effective March 2, 2026.
Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Manager of Environmental Services is responsible for overseeing the township’s water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure. The role includes project management, contract administration and providing technical and engineering expertise to support the planning, design and construction of complex infrastructure projects.
Municipal officials say the position plays a key role in ensuring safe, reliable and sustainable environmental services for residents and businesses.
Lake brings extensive municipal experience to the position. He has previously worked with the City of Peterborough and Cavan Monaghan Township, where he served as the Overall Responsible Operator for municipal water and wastewater systems.
His professional background includes wastewater treatment and collection systems, water distribution and supply, meter installations and regulatory compliance. He has also overseen system operations, coordinated maintenance and capital projects, and supported staff in delivering essential municipal services.
The township says it continues to invest in modern infrastructure to support growth while protecting its natural environment. Officials note that strong leadership in environmental services is essential as the community evolves and infrastructure demands increase.
Lake officially assumes his new role on March 2.
