Another emergency Northumberland County council meeting has been called – this time, to tackle winter warming room hours.
At press deadline, the agenda for the meeting wasn’t published. However, county staff confirmed the meeting was set for this Friday, Feb. 27, starting at 9 a.m.
The focus of the meeting will be hours of operation for the warming room, which has been temporarily set up this year at county headquarters in Cobourg.
Officials have confirmed the meeting will take place in open session.
Residents have the option of tuning in in-person or virtual via Zoom or the county’s livestream, with those details accessible online.
The agenda and any related reports once finalized will also be available via the county’s website.
