Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre is inviting the community to save the date for its 10th Annual Women’s Day Luncheon, set for May 14 in Cobourg.
The event will be held at the Best Western and is expected to once again bring together community members, supporters and advocates for an afternoon focused on connection, inspiration and impact.
Registration for the luncheon opens March 31 through Cornerstone’s website, with organizers encouraging residents to secure tickets early.
This year’s event will feature guest speaker Brandi Leifso, founder and CEO of Evio Beauty, who is widely recognized for her work as an entrepreneur and advocate supporting survivors of domestic violence.
In addition to the keynote address, the luncheon will include a meal, opportunities to connect with others in the community and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the event will support Cornerstone’s programs and services across Northumberland County, which assist individuals and families experiencing violence.
Organizers say the annual luncheon plays a vital role in raising funds and awareness, while also providing a space for community members to come together in support of those affected.
Sponsors are also being recognized for their continued support of the event, helping ensure its success year after year.
With the milestone 10th anniversary approaching, Cornerstone is encouraging residents to mark their calendars and be ready when registration opens at the end of March.
