STUFF TO DO
Wednesday: Take in a free screening of Gord Downie’s ‘The Secret Path’ at the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope. The film begins at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Indigenous leaders and advocates. Advance reservations are encouraged.
Friday: The Roseneath Fair kicks off a weekend of fun with opening ceremonies and a tractor pull starting at 5 p.m. Come by and check out a number of indoor and outdoor vendors, horse shows, an obstacle course and more all weekend long. Friday: ‘The Memory of Water’ follows three estranged sisters who reunite before their mother’s funeral and confront their complicated relationships, conflicting memories and personal demons with wit and heart. The play starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Firehall Theatre in Cobourg.
