STUFF TO DO
Friday: The Roseneath Fair kicks off a weekend of fun with opening ceremonies and a tractor pull starting at 5 p.m. Come by and check out a number of indoor and outdoor vendors, horse shows, an obstacle course and more all weekend long. Friday: ‘The Memory of Water’ follows three estranged sisters who reunite before their mother’s funeral and confront their complicated relationships, conflicting memories and personal demons with wit and heart. The play starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Firehall Theatre in Cobourg.
Friday: Lakelands Public Health is holding a Reduced-cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pine Ridge Veterinary Clinic in Cobourg. The cost is $40 per vaccination and there is no need to book ahead.
Saturday: Cornerstone’s 19th Annual Walk A Mile is taking place in downtown Cobourg, with registration starting at 9:30 a.m. outside the Cobourg Police Station. The walk begins at 11 a.m. through the Downtown Cobourg Harvest Festival, with breakfast provided by the Lions Club of Cobourg. The minimum participation fee is $20 for adults and $10 for youth 18 and under.

October 2: The Cobourg Cougars face off against the Pickering Panthers at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex at 7:30 p.m.
