Cobourg residents have until Monday, Oct. 26, to cast their ballots in the 2026 municipal and school board election.
Voting is being conducted online and will remain open until 8 p.m. on election day. Eligible electors who are not yet on the voters list can still register before polls close, with residents encouraged to leave enough time to complete the process.
Three voter help centres are available for those who need assistance or prefer to use a secure voting kiosk. Locations include Victoria Hall, the Cobourg Public Library and the Cobourg Community Centre.
Residents who have not received a voter instruction letter can visit any help centre during operating hours to confirm their eligibility and obtain a personal identification number. Photo identification and proof of address are required.
Victoria Hall and the public library will be open Oct. 23 and Oct. 26, while Victoria Hall will also operate Oct. 24 and 25. Both locations will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on election day, along with the Cobourg Community Centre, which will also offer voting assistance that day.
