An Oshawa man is facing several charges after an alleged threat at a Cobourg business led police to discover a stolen vehicle.
Cobourg police were called to a business near King and Division streets at about 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 4. Investigators allege the man threatened to kill someone after being denied service.
Police later determined the vehicle he was driving had been reported stolen in Oshawa earlier that evening.
Tracy Trinkwon, 59, was arrested and charged with motor vehicle theft over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, two counts of uttering death or bodily harm threats and driving while under suspension.
He was held for a bail hearing.
