It was proven last year that everyone LOVES Dooher’s Bakery in Campbellford, because they won Canada’s Sweetest Bakery!
You can make it happen again, because the contest has started and Dooher’s is in the running to defend its title.
Alannah Haig, marketing co-ordinator for Dooher’s, says the bakery is still holding onto the excitement from last year.
Haig says they want to thank the entire community for helping them win last year and adds, they’re still getting first time shoppers because of the contest.
The grand prize last year was valued at $10,000, and Dooher’s used the money to host a party for the community and to purchase a plaque.
Dooher’s is hoping to be able to celebrate again this fall.
Dooher’s keeps going back and forth with Wannamaker’s Bakeshop in Trenton.
