Scams are re-circulating in Northumberland, according to the OPP.
Northumberland OPP are reminding the public of the scams re- circulating our area.
Several reports have been received by residents regarding calls they have received by a person they believed was from their banking institution claiming that their bank card or credit card had been compromised.
The caller then states the only way to rectify the problem without added interest is by way of iTunes cards, Google Play cards or by wiring money.
This is just one of many scams involving iTunes or gift cards that are currently making the rounds and catching citizens off guard.
