Ontario’s public elementary teachers union is threatening to escalate strike action next week, if central contract agreements are not reached by this Friday.
A threatened day long walkout on Tuesday February 4th will affect students in Hastings-Prince Edward and Durham school districts as well as other boards.
Wednesday’s strike will affect elementary students in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.
On Thursday February 6th, there will be a province wide one day strike by 83 thousand members of the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario – affecting all school boards and districts.
