The Habitat for Humanity Northumberland ReStore in Cobourg is reopening from COVID lockdown, this Tuesday.
The not for profit centre has spent the last couple of weeks preparing the ReStore to ensure shopping in-person is safe for customers and staff.
The ReStore will be operating with reduced hours in order to maintain public health requirements for a retail business.
While currently unable to accept donation pick-ups and drop-offs, the ReStore team says it’s working to reintroduce those services in the coming weeks.
Shopping at the ReStore helps Habitat for Humanity give people seeking affordable homeownership, a hand-up.
Revenue generated from the ReStore, including through the online platform, will help Habitat complete these four homes.
